About Us
The story of Mez Ticaret began in 1971 with Şen Ihracat, one of Turkey’s major raisin producers and exporters. Over three generations, Şen Ihracat secured a strong position in the sector by exporting around 9,000–10,000 tons of Turkish Sultana Raisins annually.
With a modern facility spanning 16,000 m² of open area and 6,500 m² of covered space,
Şen Ihracat became a symbol of quality and reliability. However, in 2016, the company decided to end its production operations at its peak.
At this turning point, Şen Ihracat’s Export Manager Ilhan Zincircioğlu, decided to carry his
45+ years of expertise into a new structure and founded Mez Ticaret.

Carrying this valuable legacy into the future, Mez Ticaret started operating in the dried fruit sector with a focus
on quality and ethical trade practices.
Today, working with Turkey’s best producers, Mez Ticaret exports raisins, sun-dried tomatoes, dried figs, and
dried apricots to many countries worldwide.
Additionally, İlhan Zincircioğlu contributes to the sector’s development as a Board Member of the
Izmir Commodity Exchange.
